We're excited to announce that Virtual Airlines are now available on Hangar Addons!
Virtual Airlines give our community another way to enjoy flight simulation together. Create or join a virtual airline, plan flights, fly routes, and keep track of your virtual airline activity, all through Hangar Addons.
The feature is integrated with our flight planner software, making it easy to plan your flights and manage your virtual airline operations alongside everything else you're already doing on the site.
We've launched the Hangar Addons Virtual Airline as our first airline, and we're looking forward to seeing where the community takes this feature.
Virtual Airline Features
Virtual Airlines can be configured with a variety of information and options, including:
- Fleet Management: Manage the aircraft and fleet information for your virtual airline.
- Addon Integration: Associate addons from the Hangar Addons addon library with your virtual airline.
- Flight Plans: Associate flight plans created using the Hangar Addons flight planner with your airline.
- Airline Information: Provide your airline's logo, banner, description, ICAO code, and other information.
- Recruitment Status: Set your airline's recruitment status to Open, Paused, or Closed.
- Membership Management: Choose how pilots can join your airline: Open, Request to Join, Invite Only, or Closed.
As always, we're keeping things focused on having fun rather than creating unnecessary restrictions. Whether you want to fly regularly, occasionally, or simply participate with the community, there's a place for you.
