Flight plans

Still needed: departure airport, destination airport, simulator. The flight planner builds a flight plan from the things a pilot would normally enter: the departure and destination airports as ICAO codes, an optional alternate, the aircraft type, the simulator, the cruise altitude and speed, and a route. The route can be left empty for a direct flight or filled in with the airways and waypoints of a real route.
Beyond the route you can set the fuel and payload, the departure date and time, and the remarks that go in a filed plan, such as the registration and the operator. Choose one of the common aircraft to start from sensible cruise values and change them to match the aircraft you fly.
A finished plan can be exported for Microsoft Flight Simulator, X-Plane or SimBrief, and shared with other pilots on the flight plans page. If you would rather fly a route someone else has already built, the flight plan listings have many of them, which you can filter by aircraft, airport and simulator.

Yes. A plan you build can be shared with the community and then appears in the flight plan listings like any other.
Yes. Paste the route into the route field, with its SIDs, airways, waypoints and STARs, and the planner uses it for the plan.
Microsoft Flight Simulator and X-Plane, and plans can be exported for SimBrief too. Pick the simulator in the form so the export suits it.
