YNAR - Narrandera-Leeton Airport

Welcome to Narrandera! Nestled on the banks of the Murrumbidgee River, Narrandera is a historic river town in the Riverina region of New South Wales, and is serviced by Narrandera-Leeton Airport.

Originally built as RAAF Station Narrandera during the Second World War, Narrandera Airport was home to No. 8 Elementary Flying Training School, which at its peak saw over 90 aircraft based there for training purposes. Following the end of the war, the aerodrome assumed a civilian role, and today provides the main aerial link for not only Narrandera but the neighbouring towns of Yanco and Leeton as well. In addition to regular general aviation operations, REX Airlines operates daily flights to and from Sydney using the SAAB 340, often as a stopover on the route to the major town of Griffith 64km to the north-west.

This scenery addon is an authentic recreation of the aerodrome, utilising stock MSFS buildings and objects custom placed to build an accurate depiction of aerodrome. Aprons, taxiways, lighting and the local CTAF have all been updated to match information available to pilots through the ERSA guided provided by Airservices Australia.
