About soaring in the sim

A glider has no engine, so the flight is about finding lift and managing your energy. Look for thermals over sunny, dark ground, follow a ridge when the wind blows against it, and slow down to climb in the strongest lift while speeding up between thermals. It rewards patience, and a long, quiet flight in a clean sailplane is very different from flying a powered aircraft.

Installing it

Copy the package into your Community folder, or let the Hangar Addons Manager do it. The aircraft is marked as compatible with MSFS 2024, and the guide to installing MSFS 2024 aircraft covers the steps. The listing includes a custom sound pack and 4K liveries, so use headphones if you can; the wind noise at different speeds is a useful cue when you are trying to fly efficiently.
