UHI CJ-6 Nanchang - ZK-CVI Livery

The Nanchang is a Chinese military trainer. A fair few of them are currently flying in New Zealand: this one is based at NZNE (North Shore Airport).

One of the pics shows Pete Head, co-owner of ZK-CVI and manager of Airshow Travel (airshowtravel.co.nz). I've had a flight with him in this amazing aircraft and hope to take some more reference pics on my next trip.

About this livery

ZK-CVI is a Nanchang CJ-6, the Chinese built piston trainer that has found a second life with private owners and display pilots, including a number in New Zealand. This paint scheme recreates the real aircraft, so it suits anyone who likes flying a specific, identifiable machine rather than a generic repaint, and the North Shore base makes it easy to fly short local flights around Auckland's northern coast.

Installing it

You need the UHI CJ-6 from Just Flight, because a livery only changes the paint and not the aircraft itself. The textures are in the KTX2 format, so this version is for MSFS 2024 only; the MSFS 2020 version is linked in the description above.
