LocalTC gives Microsoft Flight Simulator 2024 air traffic control you can actually talk to. Hold your push-to-talk key, make your call the way a real pilot would, and a controller answers. It covers the whole flight, gate to gate.

It runs entirely on your own PC. There’s no subscription, no account needed and no API key required. It’s free and open source.

What Is Included

• Real controllers. Clearance, ground, tower, departure, centre and approach, each a different voice. SIDs and STARs, approaches, holds, vectors, conditional clearances and handoffs, in FAA or ICAO phraseology, for IFR and VFR. Get a readback wrong and they’ll catch it
• Just talk. Speech recognition runs locally, and typing a call works too. A small local language model handles requests that aren’t in the script, but it never issues clearances itself, so the ATC stays predictable.
• A copilot. A first officer on the intercom who makes proactive callouts, with several personalities to choose from.
• Real-world data. Live ATIS, METAR, TAF, NOTAMs and SIGMETs, plus real-world traffic on the frequency.
• Companion tools. An in-sim EFB, an iOS companion app, and a website dashboard with flight replay and shareable flight cards.

Requirements

Windows 10 or 11 Microsoft Flight Simulator 2024 A microphone for voice calls (optional)
