GB-0750 Bossington Airstirp

Bossington Airstrip is a small grass airstrip on the grounds of the Bossington Estate in Hampshire, UK. It is a very simple airfield with two hangars, a windsock and a runway and this scenery reflects that.

As with all of my sceneries, this uses a combination of in-game assets and some assets from commonly used libraries. Necessary libraries are listed below.

Any suggestions for improvement are most welcome, I'm working with satellite images and what few photos and videos I can find, so any real life insight would be appreciated!

This has been assigned an ID code of GB0750 in sim.

Feel free to message me here, or join my Discord Server if you have any feedback or suggestions.

Flying here

Bossington is a short grass strip with a windsock, so it rewards a careful approach: read the wind from the sock, fly a normal circuit and land on the grass. It suits a light single such as a Cub or a Cessna 172. The strip carries the code GB0750 in the simulator, which makes it easy to find in the world map and to use as a destination in a flight plan. Install the libraries listed above first, and see the Scenery Map for other small British strips.
